CAN REON will offer visitors performances – concerts, dance, theatre, art exhibitions – sculpture, video art, painting, installations in the middle of nature. The farm will start producing its own wine, reviving the abandoned vineyards, introducing modern methods and design thinking to traditional winemaking. Wine tasting, with wines from the area combined with new and locally sourced food will bring Catalan culture together with Dutch design to create a new cultural experience.
The design will inspire all the visitor while the wine, food art and music will make them want to stay forever.
Renny and Leon Ramakers are Dutch and both internationally renowned in the design and music industry. Their background inspires them to create a place that brings together their own passion for arts, design, wine, food and music into a new contemporary wine farm experience.

Masia CAN REON is located in Tiana, in the Maresme region, at the bottom of the Conreria hills, within the Serralada de Marina protected area. With an exceptional climate and natural environment, Tiana is just 15 minutes from Barcelona and the first town in the northeast of the Metropolitan Area. Tiana is located within a wine-growing area, the D.O Alella, where wine production dates back to Roman times. CAN REON is rooted on sablón soil, a typical porous sandstone that results from the decomposition of granites, and which, due to its characteristics, has a direct influence on the good quality of the wines.
The Masia is located about 200 m above sea level, fanned by Mediterranean breezes. A touch of salinity together with the constant sun facilitates the production of smooth wines. To the north, surrounded by pine and holm oak forests, the wine farm rises up to the Mirador dels Nou Pins, which offers exceptional views of the towns of southern Maresme, the Mediterranean and Barcelona.
Can Fàbregas de Dalt is a farmhouse registered in the Architectural and Environmental Heritage of Tiana Catalogue. The first historical document dates from the year 1245, linking the Masia to Bernat de Fabrica, a farmer from Tiana. From this date onwards up until the 18th century, the surname of Fabrica (Fàbregues and/or Fàbregas) has been associated with the Masia.
Can Fàbregues de Dalt was one of the important agricultural estates in Tiana. During this time the farm activity focused on the cultivation of the vineyard, the production of wine and orchards. From s.XIX, the natural resources of the farm were utilised, the opening and exploitation of two mines, a stone quarry for construction and a natural water spring, that was channeled to the town of Tiana.
Can Fàbregues de Tiana has a wonderful and diverse history. In 1442, Llorenç Fàbregues, a farmer from Tiana, acquired the Masia. It remained in the family for six centuries. Previously it was called Can Garner and Can Barceló. By the 21st century, the farm had been abandoned.
In 2020, Leon and Renny Ramakers acquired Can Fàbregas. The wine farm has been renamed CAN REON.
With history behind us,
we now look to the future and sharing our new beginning with you.

CAN REON is embarking on an exciting program of events and experiences to bring contemporary wine, food, art and music together in and around the wine farm.
CAN REON will open with music and art performances in the three outdoor spaces.
L’Era – the terrace, El Jardí del Tronc – the Tronc Garden and La Pedrera -the quarry.
In 2023 we expect to start with the renovation and new construction of the hotel and restaurant. During this process we will continue to organize events in La Pedrera.
By this time, we hope that everyone can enjoy all the spaces and activities, including the hotel and restaurant offering food and wine both inside and outside the farmhouse.
