What do the birds say? 2nd Edition

LEARN TO RECOGNIZE AND DRAW HIS SONG

Workshop to delve into the wonderful world of the song of the birds that live in Tiana, in CAN REON, following a unique methodology which will allow us to recognize them and memorize their song.
The workshop will be taught by biology professor, environmental consultant and nature guide Pere Alzina i Bilbeny, who will align his explanations with sayings, legends, poems, traditions, cinema, music and art.

 

An interactive activity that is complemented with scientific-pedagogical materials and an original live musical proposal by Ferran Besalduch, saxophonist and improviser, who will perform a musical reinterpretation of the different songs.

Aimed at nature lovers in which everyone, young and old, will enjoy a unique experience in Europe and that values ​​the native fauna and the preservation of the environment.

 
Pere Alzina i Bilbeny
Biologist and Master in Engineering and Environmental Management. He began working in the world of environmental education in the Aiguamolls de l’Empordà National Park and Aigüestortes-Estanya National Park of Sant Maurici and, above all, in the nature school of El Corredor, of the homonymous park. He continued in the world of environmental consulting carrying out studies and projects on environmental vectors (waste, water, air, etc.), territorial and urban studies (Environmental Impact Studies, urban planning plans, etc.) and biodiversity (reintroduction of the peregrine falcon in Barcelona, ​​Oranetes project – www.orenetes.cat, diagnosis of the Natural Parks of Bosnia, etc.). After working as a consultant at Barcelona Regional, he is now a freelance consultant and enriches his work with conferences, courses, workshops and guided outings on nature, mountains, megaliths and culture in Catalonia. (www.beyondbarcelona.com) and Eastern European countries (Poland, Bulgaria, Romania, etc.) by the hand of Altaïr.

 
Ferran Besalduch
After completing a double career between jazz and contemporary classical music in recent years, he has delved into the research of new sounds: free, experimental and intuitive improvisation. He is a specialist in extreme saxophones: bass and sopranino. He currently focuses on his project with curious saxophones and electronics with his album «ARGONAUTA» (Call it anything records), the duo of unusual instruments with Tomomi Kubo (Japan – Ondes Martenot) with the album «GYOTAKU» (Call it anything records), and with the instrumental doom metal group COURE and the album INVERSUM NEMA (Nooirax records). He is currently a professor at the School of Music and Convervatory of Granollers.

At the end of the workshop, there will be a bar service in the space of l’Era.
